DESCRIPTION:World Polio Day is 24 October. Rotary remains committed to the 
 program “End Polio Now”\, which aims to eradicate the disease poliomye
 litis through the vaccination of children throughout the world. Today ther
 e are 98 cases in Afghanistan and Pakistan. In order to achieve this\, fun
 ds need to be raised. Our Goal is to raise awareness of Polio in our commu
 nities on 24 October\, and to raise $50\,000 for ‘End Polio Now’ from 
 Club sponsorships\, NOT from the public. The plan is for Rotarians from Di
 strict 9423 to ride the trains throughout the WA Railway Network on Friday
  24 October wearing a red Polio T-shirt promoting 'End Polio Now' and crea
 ting awareness in the public domain. Although the event is free\, you need
  to register so you are covered by insurance. You can ride the trains anyt
 ime between 8am and 6.00pm\, wearing your Polio T-Shirt - you can order yo
